Hello all, my name is Zaydee (I prefer to be called Scout) and I have been funding Hamada’s Family with mostly my own income for nearly 8 months by now. We first started with GFM but they took down our fundraiser not long after the crossings closed up again and passport freezes began.
Time is blurry for us both now, while Hamada faces war, I face an Idiocracy for politicians that restrict my ability to provide help in times community and love is needed most. Hamada’s family needs food and survival necessities primarily, and that means an income to provide that for his family consisting of two brothers, two sisters, and two nieces.
Hamada Ahmed also has a cousin who recently received a life threatening injury from a bombing and now needs treatment for a missing leg.
They are in despair. And as hard as it is to face this, it is also difficult being among the only people that still provide him any money at all. I ask for your help, your kindness, and your humility to this man, whom I consider my dearest brother, and who’s family means the world to me.
